There is a turret inside a ventilation grate just past the elevator in Test Chamber 16. Jump over it, get the Refraction Cube, then use the laser to destroy that turret to open the grate. Enter the new area to find four turrets singing a song.
Easy 'Door Prize' achievementIn Chapter 6: The Fall, there are six sealed metal doors marked 'VITRIFIED' (Vitrified Doors) that have buttons in front of them that play unique audio clips of Cave speaking. At the beginning of Chapter 6, you will have to penetrate the 1960s Aperture facility. After flying through the Aperture logo, you will come to an area with a tall elevator. You must use the elevator shaft as a gravity boost to get across a chasm. On one end of the chasm is a platform with three of the Vitrified Doors. Listen to the audio that plays when you hit the buttons in front of each of the sealed doors. Then, play through the level until you reach the 1971-era test facility. When Cave starts talking about testing on hobos, below one of the test spheres and a giant Aperture logo is a room marked 'CONTROL ROOM' in yellow lettering. You can use a portal to get high above the Control Room and enter a small office. In the corner of this office is a cabinet with a door behind it. Enter this door to find a secret hallway that leads to a dock (where you get the 'Ship Overboard' achievement). The final three Vitrified Doors can be found in this area.
Easy 'Final Transmission' achievementIn Chapter 2, Test Chamber 6, carry a radio (which shows up in a clump of garbage after you hit a button) into a window above the chamber. Once you get the radio, backtrack through the level, and place a portal on the pad across from the window. Use the launchers to get through the portal and into the room beyond the window with radio in hand. Once there, carry the radio up to the wall to get the 'Final Transmission' achievement.
Easy 'No Hard Feelings' achievementPlay through Chapter 5: The Escape until you reach the conveyor belts carrying droids to the incinerator. Use a portal to get onto the conveyor belt, then walk on it until a droid with a working laser beam appears. Pick it up to get the 'No Hard Feelings' achievement.
Easy 'Overclocker' achievementEasy 'Pit Boss' achievementAt the beginning of Chapter 9, after Wheatley's Surprise, you will need to use a portal to get away from the platform just as Wheatley sends a bunch of arms to crush you. Instead of continuing to run away on the catwalks, stay nearby. Wheatly will plead with you to come back. Stand at the edge of the pit overlooking his trap, and he will ask you to jump in the pit. Do so to get the 'Pit Boss' achievement.

Easy 'Portrait Of A Lady' achievementAt the beginning of Chapter 7: The Reunion, while facing the entrance to the 02 room on the catwalks between tests 1971-01 and 1971-02, place a portal on the wall to your right, and look for another pad you can shoot a portal onto through the gate and past the stairs to the left. On the other side of the portal is an office with a large portrait of Cave Johnson and Caroline. Stare at the portrait, and GLadOS will comment on it, and you will get the 'Portrait Of A Lady' achievement.
Easy 'Preservation Of Mass' achievementAt the end of Chapter 2, Test Chamber 7, shoot a blue portal on the other side of the entrance to the exit of the area. Then, grab the Companion Cube that is depressing the button, and use an orange portal to get the Companion Cube to the exit without it getting disintegrated and get the 'Preservation Of Mass' achievement.
Easy 'Schrodinger's Catch' achievementPlay through Chapter 6: The Fall until you reach the 1958-28 room. In this room is a cube trapped in a glass box, with Blue Gel streaming out of a pipe in a corner. Save the game when entering this room so you can retry the puzzle if you fail. You must shoot a portal under the gel and over the crate to coat the cube in goo. The cube will then bounce around until it breaks the glass. Eventually it will break out of the glass. You must catch the cube before it touches the ground to get the 'Schrodinger's Catch' achievement. Stand between the entrance and the gel spout to hopefully catch the cube when it comes flying out.
Easy 'Ship Overboard' achievementPlay through Chapter 6: The Fall until you reach the 1971-era test facility. When Cave starts talking about testing on hobos, below one of the test spheres and a giant Aperture logo is a room marked 'CONTROL ROOM' in yellow lettering. You can use a portal to get high above the Control Room and enter a small office. In the corner of this office is a cabinet with a door behind it. Enter this door to find a secret hallway that leads to a dock. At the end of the walkway by the docks, you will find an orange life preserver marked 'BOREALIS'. Examine this to get the 'Ship Overboard' achievement. This is a reference to the Aperture ship Borealis seen at the end of Half-Life 2: Episode 2.

I decided to go ahead and replay Portal 2 again today. We all know of the voices heard in the walls of that last 'Rat Man' den, the fan room with mugs scattered everywhere. But after finding myself at the first murals, depicting the creation and story of GLaDOS, (The room where you first get the single portal gun) i noticed a familiar soundtrack playing. The voices, as I have already studied, are part of the soundtrack named 'The Ghost of Rattmann'. Hearing this soundtrack, I immediatly headed towards the murals. And whatdya know, the one depicting scientist dying and screaming plays the voices loudest. Louder than the most popular known location.
Ill be on the lookout for the soundtrack in other areas and update this is I find any others.

Grabbing Wheatley in Test Chamber 02[edit]
Go over to the area where cube is then you try to get there as fast as you can and you can grab Wheatley. Wheatley will not talk or help you he does nothing but stare at you and he will not advance to the next chamber with you.

Another Alternate Title Screen[edit]
In chapter 6 and 7, when you are in the subterranean labs, if you quit your game and go to the main title page you will be greeted with a title screen of a picture of an area under Aperture. Along with the picture you will see a few old turrets laying around, as well as a song that sounds like it is being sung by turrets.

GlaDOS, Bound and Gagged[edit]
Although Portal developers have claimed that GLaDOS was originally designed to resemble the famous female figure of Botticelli's 'Rise of Venus,' this design was ditched. From some angles GLaDOS appears to be a bound and gagged female figure. Kinky.

Bluetooth usb adapter class 1 long range. For Schrodinger's Catch, start Chapter 6: The Fall, play through the level until you reach the 1958 28 room. In this room a cube is trapped in a glass box, while Blue Gel streams out of a pipe in one corner. make a save when you enter the room so you can reset the puzzle if you need to. You must shoot a portal under the Gel and over the crate to coat the cube in goo. The cube will then bounce around until it breaks the glass. Eventually it will break out of the glass. To get the Schrodinger's Catch Achievement / Trophy you must catch this cube before it touches the ground. Instead of trying to catch the cube before it hits the ground, let the cube bounce around and break the glass, then douse it with water and clean the gel off before it bounces out of the box. Jump into the box and pick it up. If the cube doesn't escape the box before you grab it, it technically never touches the 'ground' and the Trophy / Achievement is unlocked!

Bizarre Graffitti In Chapter 5[edit]
Just after you hit bottom at the beginning of Chapter 6: The Fall, proceed towards the nearest wall to shoot a portal. Follow the wall to your left. In the corner you will notice a collage of shapes. Its right in the corner of the wall you have to shoot a portal at as an entry point to exit on the other side of the first fence. Look towards the corner, on the wall, where the light terminates with the shadow. Here's what you'll see:
Near the ground: A heart logo similar to the heart logo on companion cubes.
Above the heart, waist high to Chell: something that looks like a family crest, but also could be a pelvis because..
Continuing upward: Something from it heading upward almost looks like a spine. Eventually, you can make out what appears to be a Humanoid shape. It appears to be looking upward at..
The last image:The image of a dangling lamp.
Bring Your Daughter to Work[edit]
During your escape with Wheatly you will eventually run into the 'Bring your daughter to work day' room. Which has all sorts of different science fair Potato projects. If you go down to the very end of the line you will find the over grown potato. Look closely You will find the owner of the project has written her name on one of the bottom corners. Why, it's Chell!
Another one reads'Alyx,' a references to Half Life 2's protagonist!

How to Get The Co-Op Action 'Hugs'[edit]

The 11 monitors you can destroy in Chapter 8 are those that broadcast Wheatley in the 10 puzzles (two monitors can be found in one puzzle). The monitors can be busted with falling blocks, lasers and one must be taken out by catapulting bodily into it. Here's a convenient video showing how to destroy all 11 monitors:

To get this Achievement, head to Chapter 8. Enter the first 'real' test chamber that you have to do twice (after the room with the malfunctioning robots). Walk into the room until Wheatley starts to talk and simply wait after a minute or so -- Achievement Unlocked!

Singing Turrets[edit]
In Test Chamber 16, at the beginning of the level, you have to jump over a turret's line of sight, but the turret is beyond a grate on the wall making it difficult to reach. Play the level normally until you reach the cubes. Place one cube on the button, place a portal under the laser and on the wall NOT facing the exit, and redirect the laser with the refraction box into the grate with the turret behind it. The grate will blow off. Go inside to find yet another Rat Man den and a few turrets singing in unison (are they rehearsing for something?).

Good Listener[edit]
In Chapter 4, when escaping from GLaDOS with Wheatley, GLaDOS will try to trick you with 'one last test.' Make a save (so you don't have to backtrack) and head towards the heart she makes on the wall and the door leading to what appears to be a forest. Once you cross the lightbridge you'll get the Good Listener Achievement / Trophy.

Secret Room in Chamber 17[edit]
As you enter Test Chamber 17 in Chapter 3, look at the black wall high up to the left. There's a retracted plate there and you can portal the lightbridge to get over to it. Behind the retracted plate lies a mysterious, secret room filled with cups. There's also some art and a poem on the wall.

Cave Johnson's Secret Monologue[edit]
In the first test chamber, after discovering white gel (where it comes down from a pipe infinitely), if you stay in the chamber for really long time (about 10 minutes or so), Cave Johnson will reveal secrets about Caroline and GLaDOS in a long monologue.

Decoding Ratman's Transmission[edit]
The ARG for Portal 2 featured transmissions similar to that heard in Ratman's lair (see 'Final Transmission' Achievement). These are actually encoded pictures (encoded using SSTV images that were sent over HAM radio) and, when decoded, the image you get is the following:

Ignoring GLadOS's admonishments and carry your pal through the broken 'Emancipation Grill' at the end of the chamber to get this Achievement / Trophy.
